In Infant Education there are around 20 students per class, which can be increased if there are siblings who are already in the school. In Primary and ESO there is a maximum of 25 students per class.

Our educators come from a variety of countries. Teachers with Proficency or native level in English instruct various subjects in the language. Our students’ intercultural and global mindsets are fostered by this linguistic and cultural diversity.

35% of our students are international, and this percentage varies each academic year. In total we have students of more than thirty different nationalities.

Three languages of teaching are offered by the school as part of its multilingual educational project: Spanish, Catalan, and English. Complete immersion in the English language is a fundamental element of early childhood education. Except for playtime and dining rooms, infants 3, 4, and 5 speak English exclusively. In primary and secondary education, 25% of instruction is given in Spanish and Catalan, and 50% of instruction is given in English. Our aim is for every one of our students to graduate from our school with a complete mastery of the three, allowing them to grow their communication abilities in all spheres—academic, interpersonal, and professional. They may also be able to learn a fourth language to choose between French or Chinese as an extracurricular activity.

At Agora Princess Margaret International School, we support integration because it gives every student an equal chance to develop and learn. In order to help international students adjust to their classes as best they can, we offer a “Welcome Class” where linguistic support is offered. In addition to helping the student acquire the language and attain the required level, the Welcome Class aims to provide them with the emotional assistance they need to adjust to their new surroundings. When in their timetable there are language class, students attend this lesson; for the remaining subjects, they join their classmates. Once the student has a sufficient command of the language to follow the contents, and each case is assessed individually.
