At Agora Princess Margaret International School, we believe that language learning should be practical, continuous and contextualised. Distribution of languages by stage

In our trilingual school in Barcelona, each language plays a clearly defined role within the educational project. English acts as the main language of instruction in many subjects, allowing students to internalise it naturally from an early age.

From Early Years, learning is based on an almost full linguistic immersion in English, encouraging spontaneous language acquisition. As students progress through their schooling, the model evolves into a balanced distribution: approximately 50% of subjects are taught in English, while Spanish and Catalan make up the rest of the curriculum. Spanish and Catalan, as co-official languages, also play a key role in academic development. Subjects are alternated across languages so that students acquire specific vocabulary and real skills in all three linguistic contexts.

This multilingual education model is complemented by the progressive preparation for official English certifications, which allow us to assess students’ level and support their progress throughout their school journey. Our goal is for students to develop a balanced and natural command of all three languages, progressing steadily over time.
